If you dream of a career in the banking sector, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a golden opportunity for you. The bank has released a recruitment notification for 750 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts.
The application process began on November 3, 2025, and will continue until November 23, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through PNB’s official website — www.pnbindia.in.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions, candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. They should also have basic knowledge of banking and proficiency in the local language.
In terms of age limit, the minimum age to apply is 20 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
- OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years relaxation
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920, along with additional allowances and benefits as per bank rules.
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three stages:
- Online Written Examination
- Screening Test & Local Language Test
- Interview
The written exam will consist of 150 questions on subjects like Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis, English, and General Awareness, carrying a total of 150 marks.
There will be negative marking — ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
To qualify, General and EWS category candidates must score at least 40%, while SC/ST/OBC candidates need 35% marks.
Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the screening test and interview. The final selection will be based on performance across all stages.

- General / EWS / OBC candidates: ₹1,180
- SC / ST / PwD candidates: ₹59
